The phone rings at 9:47 PM. Someone answers.
An AI receptionist that picks up in your shop's name, books the job into your calendar, and texts you the details. We set it up for you in one visit. One flat monthly price.
The trial covers after-hours calls only, so nothing changes during your workday. No card needed.
Thanks for calling Riverside Plumbing. How can I help?
Our water heater's leaking all over the garage.
Sorry about that. If you can, turn the cold valve on top of the heater to off. What's the address?
12 Oak Street, Austin.
I can get a tech out tomorrow between 8 and 10 AM. Want that?
The math
A missed call is a job for the next shop on Google
When you're on a ladder, calls go to voicemail. Most people who reach voicemail don't leave a message. They call someone else.
How it works
Set up in one visit. Running that night.
We set it up with you
We sit down with you and learn your services, service area, prices you're happy to quote, and what counts as an emergency. Then we test it together until it sounds like your shop.
Forward your calls
Forward after-hours and missed calls to your new line. Keep your number, your phone and your software. Turn it off anytime by texting PAUSE.
It answers, books, follows up
You get a text after every call. Callers who didn't book get a follow-up text, and finished jobs get a Google review request.
On every call
It sounds like your office, and knows when to get you
- Answers in your shop's name, 24/7Nights, weekends, and when you're under a sink. Callers hear right away that it's your virtual assistant.
- Gets the details you'd ask forName, callback number, address and the problem, with the address and number read back to confirm.
- Books real arrival windowsOnly open times from your calendar, and the customer gets a confirmation text.
- Sticks to your pricesIt quotes your service-call fee if you want it to. Everything else gets "the tech will price it on site."
- Follows up so jobs don't slipText-backs for callers who didn't book, nudges on open quotes, and review requests after the job.
- Shows you what it caughtA weekly text with calls answered, jobs booked and the work it brought in.
Emergencies aren't left to the AI
Fixed rules run on every sentence before the AI replies.
| Caller says | What happens |
|---|---|
| Gas smell, carbon monoxide alarm | Tells them to get outside and call 911 or the gas company, then puts them through to your cell |
| Sparks, smoke, burning smell | Safety instructions, then straight to your cell |
| Flooding, burst pipe, sewage, no heat | You get an URGENT text, and it offers to connect them to you |
| Anything it can't handle | Takes a message or transfers. If the AI ever fails, the call goes to you. |
Try it
Be the customer
You're a customer calling a pretend plumbing shop, Riverside Plumbing & Heating. This is the same assistant your shop would get, set up with that shop's prices and hours. Describe a problem, ask what a service call costs, and try to book a visit. Try a gas smell too.

Questions
What owners ask us
Will my customers know it's AI?
Yes. It introduces itself as your shop's virtual assistant and says the call may be recorded. Most callers care that someone picked up and they got on the schedule. The alternative is voicemail, and most people won't leave one.
What if it gets something wrong?
Emergencies run on fixed rules and go straight to your cell. It only offers open times from your calendar and only quotes prices you've approved. We read transcripts every week and adjust the setup. If anything on our end fails, the call rings through to you.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. You keep your number. We give you a line to forward calls to, either all of them or just after-hours and missed calls.
Does it work with my scheduling software?
It books into Google Calendar today, or into its own built-in schedule. Jobber and Housecall Pro are next on our list. If you use something else, tell us on the trial form.
What happens if I go over my call limit?
Calls ring straight through to you like they do today. Nothing gets cut off, and we'll talk about whether a bigger plan makes sense.
Is there a contract?
No. It's month to month and you can cancel anytime. You can also text PAUSE to switch it off for a day, or for the slow season.
Is recording calls legal where I am?
Every call opens with a recording notice, which is the standard approach. We store a text transcript, not audio. Talk to us if your state has specific rules you're worried about.
